So I used this troubleshooter to hide the update. Since I’m on wireless I cannot actually test the Ethernet. Starting with the most recent driver listed and going backwards I began the process of gifabit until I found one that worked.
It worked before with Windows 7. I had to do search and I found it. So I rolled back to the Reverted back to the standard Win 7 driver ver
