There is much to like about the latest version of this venerable device, but also one or two drawbacks to consider. For those who might want a bit of wrist support or elevation it also includes a detachable padded wrist rest.
However – I never got the hang of the upper two mouse buttons but that isn’t really necessary either. If you don’t need a wrist rest for medical reasons, I doubt that anyone would use it for aesthetic reasons.
I do wish that Kensington would expand the combinations available, allowing custom actions for both right buttons, both left buttons, and even diagonal mixups. If so, then here’s a small test – what would the command be to change the scroll ring to horizontal scrolling rather than vertical scrolling?
